Dear John Letter by Paul W Nagy 9-30-2013

This is a collage picture, including the background of a man that went away for two years on a mission and one of my daughters was not mature enough to endure the separation, the man I call "Dear John". A dear friend of the family at one time, however, things did not work out how they had planned and thus, the letters stopped coming and the missionary "John" fell out of our lives for ever. This is something I put together as a memory that quickly dictates the behaviour of others and how it affects our missionaries and our soldiers abroad. A sad ending but lasting memories. Sometimes it takes bad decisions and the repercussions of such to realize the mistakes you have made in life and to feel the pain that go's along with those decisions. That is what makes some of us grow and some of us go away! One example of many, that have gone in the past, through the years with plenty of tears and the many of fears of losing someone you love. You only get one chance in life, try to make the right decisions and think about what your actions might do to the other person, the ripple effect it may cause on so many lives. If I did not care for this person "John", I would have dropped this a long time ago, the fact that I still have this and can write to others about it, is gods blessing to me and to others that might benefit from seeing an image, with a lost soul, that with the power of time, suffering and learning, the strong will carry on and the weak shall perish. These are only simple words from a simple man, expressing the lasting legacy of someone dear to us and the families that were involved in the daily struggle of getting both of them, to understand, some things happen for a reason, we might not know why there happening, but our elders do and we must understand and respect them and learn from them, as not to repeat the same mistakes they did, unless it is gods will for us to do so. Bless the men and women of the missionaries, the men and women of our armed forces and the affected families of life's challenges. God Bless. Paul W. Nagy 9-30-2013.
