Dad's lucky fishing day! May 9th 2013

Boy did I have a lucky fishing day today I ended up catching both,  large bass Mama and Daddy that were hanging around the boat docks at Ray Roberts Marina I've been trying to catch these guys for at least a couple weeks, ended up catching them on the neutral colored fake worm, in addition to a large crappy it was a great fight for both fish in addition to the crappy. Of course I let them all go they were just a little too small to keep in addition, there are not many types of this fish in that lake, so I gave them a break, they were protecting their local babies along the shoreline so just wanted a good sport fish and a good challenge it worked out great. The pictures of my shoe next to the fish just imagine that my shoe size is 15" so the two bass must been at least 17 inches in length and they were definitely fat.
